The Category I & II Championships were played at Ashley Wood GC on a fine sunny day, the course was looking good and would prove a great test for our club Category Champions. 

With a good turnout for the Category I which included our County Captain and Champion.  Tom Leech led the way and had a stunning round of golf breaking the current course record by one with a fine gross 65 net 64 a score that would be hard top beat.  Sam Allen Wareham hard a good try coming home with a fine net 67 to take second spot with Yeovils James Kelleher taking the third place with a fine 70.

The Category II Championship was well contested again scoring was good with ferndowns Nick Hopwood setting the pace with a fine 69, holding the clubhouse lead until the final group came home and Sherbornes Kevin Costigan took over having a fine 66 to become the Category II Champion.
