Wow all credit to all those who turned up for this year's Championshipat Came Down. The course was in very good condition but the wind and some heavy showers were going to make it a real test for the field. The scratch pairs got us under way with last year's Champions Matt & Lewis leading the way coming home with a 77 two better than their playing partners Parkstones Andy Robson & Bayley Lewendon. The home pair of Mark Stickley and Mike Spearing taking the lead with a fine 76 which held until the last pair from DG&CC of Callum Ward and Dave Whalley returned a fine 74 to become the Inter-Club Foursome Champions.

Congratulations to Callum & Dave on becoming the 2019 Inter-Club Foursome Champions.
In the handicap event the players as always found the format tough made even tougher with the wind but it is always a great experience. The DG&CC pairing of Andrew Roy and James Windebank set the pace with a superb gross 76 net 71 setting upa double for the club. This proved to be the case as the players came home with the Knighton Heath pair of David Burns & Michael Drinnan getting the closest with a net 75 to take second place. They also faired well in the two's sweep as they were the only pair to have one.
