Women's Interclub 2025 – Semi-finals

The first Interclub semi-final was held on a glorious, sunny day at Queen’s Park, between Broadstone and Weymouth. The sun shone as the matches teed off and the semi-final got underway. The course was in great condition, with the greens running true. Heading into the crucial final six holes, Weymouth were up in the majority of matches and held on to their lead to secure the wins to become the first team through to the final. The matches were played in great spirit and Broadstone were gracious in defeat, wishing the Weymouth team good fortune in the final.

The teams in the second semi-final, Ferndown A and Lyme Regis, did not have the same good fortune with the weather. The first two matches, played at Came Down, went off in the dry, but after that the rain appeared and continued for the rest of the day, with driving winds and poor visibility making the conditions extremely tricky.  The players were very closely matched, with no more than two shots given in any of the matches. At the turn, Ferndown A were up in the majority of matches and capitalised on their leads to go on and turn them into wins. Despite the soggy conditions, the matches were played in good spirit. Hats off to all the players and their valliant trolley-pullers for battling the elements!
