The annual triangular match changed format this year from Matchplay to a Stroke Play match over eighteen holes with each team of ten having the best eight scores to count for the matches. The event was held at Dudsbury on a pleasant day with little wind and the sun shining through for most of the time. Dorset was represented by Tom Plumb, Adam Harris, George Carroll, Brad Cox, Callum Ward, Steffen Foley, Thomas Kollberg, Jacob Hunter, Mark Rankin and Oscar Perry. The Dorset boys held their own and produced a fine set of scores to take the Paul Donnelly Shield (Dorset v Hampshire match) for the second year running with a team score of 602 some 4 shots better than Hampshire and 12 shots better than Sussex so again for the second year running Dorset took both matches. The individual trophy put up by Dorset was won by Hampshire’s George Saunders who had a fine level par 71 pipping Dorset’s Tom Plumb who was one over 72 along with Josh Oddy Hampshire.
