Well what a difference a week makes! Keeping the fingers crossed the frost would stay away seemed to work and with a field of 56 the second DCGA Christmas event got under way and the scoring again was very high. The field was split into 2 sections as can be seen in the results below:

Firstly to all those who turned up and played on Thursday 6 Dec may I salute you, your dedication is terrific and I hope you enjoyed the day despite the weather. That said and given it was run over 13 holes the scores were remarkably good.

1st- Geoff Painting & Mike Keynes 28 points
2nd- Steve Wonnacott & Harry Mockett 27 points
3rd- John Farley & Mike Smith 26 points. John is also this years Order of Merit winner.
4th- Basil Beeching and John Yard 25 points on count back
5th- Derek Hibbert & Maurice Towns 25 points on count back
6th- Charles Foster & Eric Pape 25 points.
