Safeguarding policies and procedures have been in place for some time and there are already a large number of committed individuals across the county carrying out great work within our clubs. However, EG’s view, and that of other organisations and experts with whom they work, is that more needs to be done. England Golf has made it a mandatory requirement for all affiliated clubs; we are tasked to achieving the new level of SafeGolf accreditation by January 2021. Please don’t panic as your Club Support Officer Tom Jessamine or I will be on hand to take you through the process as required.
