Dorset County

Kingsdown was in very nice condition but when we teed off the weather was very unexpected, being very cold, overcast and windy. Fortunately, apart from an early shower it progressed as the afternoon wore on to become a beautiful summers evening. The match was very close with home advantage playing a big part. David Topp and John White were a little unlucky to suffer a barrage of five birdies in the last eight holes. Afterwards we all enjoyed a pleasant meal and some good company, which is as it should be.
