Jack Baker, James Dodds, Jordan Howlett, Ollie Hayter, Jack Rice, Dominic Knight, George Long, and Billy-Joe Bugden. With the fixture following the SW Week the team taken to Kent was relatively young and several players were making their Colts Debut.  The fixture was held at a very nicely presented Dartford GC and the day was at last sunny with a slight breeze to test the players around this tree lined course.  Kent were extremely strong with all their players being seasoned County Players and this showed as we got under way in the Foursomes Jack and James battled hard but could not match the birdies being thrown at them by their opponents going down 5&4.  Dominic and Jack never got out of the blocks and were always struggling hence the 6&5 score line.  George and billy-Joe played well and battled hard giving the opponents a close game just going down 3&2.  Jordan and Ollie had a good match which could have gone our way at one stage but their opponents threw a couple of birdies at them with some monster putts at the death to run out 2&1 winners.  After an enjoyable lunch it was out for the singles and as the results show the difference in the handicap standard did show but our players all battled well and all credit to Ollie Hayter who took our only point beating Connor Fletcher a plus two handicapper 2&1.  It was a good battle and Ollie kept his cool to grind out a good win and give the team a point.  We thank Kent and all their supporters for a splendid day at Dartford GC.
