We had a breezy day at Lee-On-Solent GC where Hampshire hosted Dorset in our Se League match. Dorset went behind early on in the match with Mike Spearing 5 down after 9, but a string of birdies Mike managed to pull holes back but eventually went down 2&1. Mark Stickley got off the mark with a fine 4&3 win over his opponent his first win since coming into the squad this year. Fingers Beckett also had a fine win 2 up proving he is back after nearly removing some fingers in a work accident. So a fine win for Hampshire and we must now pick ourselves up and get ready for the Kent match at Rochester.
