It proved to be a fantastic start to the league season for the under 14's at Wheathill. However, the boys didn't have all there own way in the morning. After fast starts by all the foursomes pairings a little complacency may well have kicked in as Somerset came back strongly to take two of the three foursomes matches on the last hole. A fine win again however from the strong pairing of Sam Brooke and Tom Seville at the head of the field.
The singles got off to a similar start to that of the foursomes. However, this time with the morning lessons learnt they would kick on and play some fantastic golf! All the boys seemed to be on top form and with the putters red hot there was only going to be one result. To win the singles 6-0 is testament to the boys hard work recently.
