Dorset County

This was a disappointing result from the boys in their inter-county friendly of the season. The handicaps of both sides where pretty even so the contest should have been a closer affair than it turned out to be. However, for 6 of my 8 boys it was their first county match as opposed to Wiltshire fielding only one debutant. Maybe the lack of experience counted against us. Billy Hathway played the best golf of the day looking very calm in his first match.

We are now looking forward to taking on a strong Hampshire team next week which will be a real test for the boys!
