Parkstone GC 26 august 2021

The Category I & II Championships were played at Parkstone GC on a fine sunny day, the course was looking great and would prove a great test for our club Category Champions. 

With a good turnout for the Category I, the event got under way with Parkstones David Talbot leading them out. As predicted scoring proved tough and Tom Murphy was the early clubhouse leader with a fine 69, one clear of DG&CC Derek Habens and two clear of Stephen Robinson from Weymouth.

Runner Up: Derek Habens (DG&CC) 70
Third: Stephen Robinson (Weymouth)  71

The Category II Championship was well contested and again scoring was proving tough with Bulbury Woods James Eley taking the title with a 70, two clear of Crane Valley's Adrian Faulkner and Bournemouth & Meyricks Clive Wingfield both finishing on 73.
