Hosted this year at Broadstone and given Saturdays rain a huge thanks to the club who got the course prepared and ready for the event. The weather was set fair but heavy showers were forecast.  The Scratch section was depleted with a few clubs not entering; that said the home pairing of Lee James and Ash Colloff on paper were favourites and they did come home as winners by 3 shots from Johnathan Walbridge & Gary Weldon (Ashley Wood).

In the handicap event the players found the format tough but it was very keenly contested with the top two both on 74 and the DG&CC pair of Derek Habens & Dominic Mussell coming out on top in the countback from Parkstone's Doug Topple & Andrew Turner.
