Alex Johnston v Rhys Harrison. So to the final and first blood went to Rhys when Alex found his ball up against the netting on the first. Alex hit a super shot into the second but his putt lipped and it was still one to Rhys. Alex then took the next four holes which included a fine birdie at the sixth to move to 3 up as they stood on the seventh tee. Alex found the water off the tee and with Rhys making par it was back to 2. Both played fine shots in to the par 3 eighth and Alex holed his to go back to 3 up and with Rhys having tree trouble up the ninth it was Alex four up at the turn. He kept the pressure on Rhys with a fine birdie four on the next to move further ahead. The next two were shared and Alex wrapped the match up with another birdie 3 on the thirteenth to win 6&5 |

Tom Kollberg v Rhys Harrison. Tom got off to a cracking start with a fine birdie on the first to go one up. Rhys hit back with a super birdie on the next and from there kicked on and with Tom struggling on the greens ran out a comforable winner 5&3. |
