Remedy Oak was in excellent condition for our final league match of the season which saw us hosting Kent. We had a good team out; sadly the strength of our opponents where the highest handicap in their senior squad is 2 was just too much for us to overcome. Once more we got off to a great start and after nine we were up in 5 of the matches with a couple holding their own as well. We again then find it tough in the last half of the match as Kent pegged the matches back with just John Smith managing to hold out to win 2&1 and halves from Tony Coles and Selwyn Burke were our only points going down 8-2.
Still with the league matches over we now look forward to the County Finals and our first opponents Yorkshire who we have never played before.
