The team travelled to North Foreland to play Kent on the weekend of the 30th and 31st July. The team selected was:
Andy Rideout (Captain - Dudsbury), Andrew Robson (Vice – Sherborne), Adan Yates (Parkstone), Oscar Hein (Parkstone), Alex Johnstone (Broadstone), Matt Warren (Yeovil), Gregg Sutcliffe (Remedy Oak), Gary Weldon (Ashley Wood).
Congratulations to Gary Weldon for making the team and making his debut. Six of the team travelled up on the Friday for some extra practice and to avoid travelling on the Saturday. This was found to be very beneficial, and it was great to see the team make the effort.
Unfortunately, despite some good play, we were resoundingly beaten 11 - 1 by a very strong Kent team on a course they have played many events on in 2022. Oscar Hein picked up the only point for the Dorset Team.
