Dorset Seniors v Sussex Seniors

Ham Manor Golf Club
The Seniors team travelled to Sussex for our first South East League match on a sunny day with a light breeze.
We enjoyed a well-presented course and played well.
This was as close as we have come to defeating Sussex (2021 England Golf County Seniors Champions) for a few years, and it was only on the last few holes of the final three matches that the result was decided.
Special mention & congratulations to:
Gary Earl, who defeated the 2022 England Golf Seniors Matchplay runner-up in the top match.
Tony Coles, who came from 3 down to earn a half.
Newcomer, Steve Sydney, who was so close to a full point.
John Smith, for a fine 4&3 win.
We now look forward to our next match versus Hampshire at Remedy Oak on June 13th.
