I am pleased to advise you that the Seniors League match between our counties Teams will be played at Cowdray Park Golf Club on Tuesday 14th May 2019. Tee off at 12:00 (Noon), 10 singles matches. Catering: Coffee and bacon rolls will be available from 11:00 hours. A two course meal at the conclusion of the match for players and County Officials.. SCGU will cover the charge for catering and bar bill for the match. I will contact you nearer the period to confirm numbers for catering from Dorset. | |||||

A “nearly result”! On a sunny but windy day at Cowdray Park we were doing well at the half way mark with the game evenly balanced. Sussex prevailed in three of the games we were up in and several went to the last. Particular mention to our two new caps Gary Earl Yeovil and Neil Hansler Broadstone with both making a fine start both gaining a hard fought halve. More credit to Neil who was called up Monday Lunchtime and travelled on the day so no practice! Take from that what you will!.
