So after 3 years of not losing a match the Dorset U16 came back to earth with a huge bump.
The foursomes where all tight until around the turn when Cornwall seemed to just hole the putt when needed and when we lost the top 3 we were pinning hopes on the 4th pair all square up the last but with both teams on the green close we missed they holed for birdie and that was 4 down at lunch.
The singles started of very well we where up in 6 early on and the miracle of Trethorne was on!!!
Sadly not as like the foursomes Cornwall held more putts and the tide turned.
Although the score is not pleasant reading 7 of the 12 matches ended up down 18th so it was a tight match.
10 of the boys it was there first taste of u16 golf and will of learnt a few things which will hold us in good stead for next year.
Next up Somerset at Knighton fingers crossed
