Dorset County

After a good result against Cornwall a couple of weeks ago we once again travelled west, this time to take on Devon. Looking at the league table before the game it looked like a big win could give us a chance of the league title, however Devon are historically very strong. The morning foursomes got underway and very quickly all 4 matches went ahead. All the lads complimented each other really well and 3 of the matches went our way. Guss and Jack finished off a great morning by winning the last to half the game. The singles also got off to a great start and through 9 holes nearly all our matches were ahead and some by a good margin. Devon then decided to put together a big comeback and for a while it looked like they might pull off the impossible, the boys put their foot down again though and eventually came out worthy winners.

2017 proved a pretty good one in the end, only time will tell if we’ve done enough to take the league title.
