JOB ADVERT - COACH - UNDER 14 SQUAD

Dorset Golf Union is looking to recruit an U14 Squad Coach.  

Reporting to the U14 Squad Manager the Coach will design, manage and develop the coaching programme to enable the players to fully develop their potential for U14 County matches and to bring the players forward to the next level.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in coaching along with the leadership qualities that will inspire the players to raise their game.  Effective team working experience is essential as well as the desire to constantly improve.  It will also be essential that the successful candidate is able and willing to work with other members of the Dorset Golf Union.   

Work Commitment: Approximately 8 days per year

Salary: Remuneration will be on a pay-by-day basis at a negotiable rate.

Start Date: October 2012

JOB ADVERT - PERFORMANCE COACH UNDER 16 & 18 SQUADS

Dorset Golf Union is looking to recruit an U18 & U16 Squad Performance Coach.  

Reporting to the relevant Squad Manager the Performance Coach will develop and monitor suitable training programmes, design, manage and develop the training programme to enable the players to fully develop their skills and performance for matches and events at county and beyond thus bringing the players forward to the next level.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in coaching along with the leadership qualities that will inspire the players to raise their game.  Effective team working experience is essential as well as the desire to constantly improve.  It will also be essential that the successful candidate is able and willing to work with other members of the Dorset Golf Union.   Single applications for both posts will be considered or one applicant may take on the dual role.

Work Commitment: some 64 hours per year including weekend and evenings.  

Salary: Will be based on an hourly rate to be negotiated.

Start Date: October 2012
