The following County Events will make up the 2012 OOM:

Order of Merit – Rules
The Dorset Order of Merit will be open to all players who are members of clubs affiliated to the Dorset County Golf Union
The top 10 positions in both Stroke Play rounds of each event irrespective of who fills the position will be awarded points on the following scale 12,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
The total aggregated points determine position in the OOM table. Players are not restricted in the number of events they can enter.
The top 16 qualifiers for the Matchplay stage in the County Championship will get 5 OOM points with the finalists getting an additional 5 points.
The County Stroke Play Championship second round will carry DOUBLE POINTS.
The Winner of the Order of Merit will receive the Trophy and a voucher for £150.
All disputes and other matters relating to the Dorset Order of Merit will be decided by the Executive Committee whose decision shall be final.
The OOM is open to Juniors who have handicaps that meet the entry requirement for the above events.
